Hands on the Precious Stones
For two hours you work as a gemmologist, with the same professional instruments we use every day: the loupe, the microscope and the refractometer. You examine real rubies, sapphires, emeralds and diamonds, with natural and synthetic stones side by side, and learn to recognise a natural stone, spot a treatment and understand what gives a stone its value.
